Temporary voice channels
No more endless lists of empty channels: with temporary voice, a member joins the generator channel (hub) and instantly gets their own channel, which they control from an interface panel and which disappears once empty.

01 Setup (admin)
The fine-tuning (default name, limits, bitrate, visible buttons, embed appearance…) is then done in the Temporary voice tab of the The web dashboard.
/tempvoice setup [category_name] Creates the category, the "join-to-create" generator channel and the control interface channel. Requires the Administrator permission.
/tempvoice config Tweaks the module's configuration.
/tempvoice reset Fully resets the configuration.
02 For members
Join the generator channel: your personal channel is created and you're moved into it automatically. Your preferences (name, limit, allowed/blocked members) are remembered and reapplied to your next channel.
When the last participant leaves the channel, it's deleted automatically (after any configured delay).
03 Owner controls
The owner controls their channel from the interface panel (buttons), with no command to type. The available actions:
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Rename | Changes the channel's name. |
| Limit | Sets the maximum number of slots (0 to 99). |
| Lock / Unlock | Prevents or re-allows others from joining. |
| Hide / Show | Makes the channel invisible or visible to others. |
| Allow | Grants access to a specific member even when the channel is locked. |
| Kick | Ejects a member from the channel. |
| Block | Permanently denies a member access. |
| Transfer | Hands channel ownership to another member. |
| Delete | Closes the channel immediately. |
Tip — The administrator can choose which buttons are visible and which permissions members get over their channel, from the dashboard.

? Frequently asked questions
Q. How does a member create their channel?
They just join the generator channel ("join-to-create") set up by /tempvoice setup. Ganyu immediately creates a dedicated channel and moves them into it.
Q. Does the channel disappear on its own?
Yes, as soon as the last participant leaves it (after any delay). No empty channel lingers in the category.
Q. Can I hand my channel over to someone else?
Yes, the owner can transfer ownership to another member via the Transfer button on the interface panel. When the channel empties, it's deleted automatically anyway.
Q. Are my settings kept from one time to the next?
Yes. Your preferences (name, limit, allowed or blocked members) are remembered and reapplied automatically to every new channel you create.
Q. Can I limit who is allowed to create a channel?
Yes, via the allowed roles in the configuration. You can also adjust the number of channels per member, the creation cooldown and the permissions granted to the owner.
