# Quick setup with /setup

> The /setup command configures Ganyu in one click with a community, economy or moderation profile: modules, channels and statistics in a single step.

The /setup command opens a panel that enables a set of coherent modules in one click. It is useful on a new server: instead of configuring each module, you pick a profile.

## Opening the panel

Type /setup in the channel where the welcome messages and level-up announcements should appear. The command requires the Manage Server permission.

## The three profiles

Levels announce level-ups in the channel where you run /setup, unless an announcement channel is already configured. Statistics create a category of counter channels, unless it already exists.

Profile | Modules enabled
Community | Welcome and leave, levels, statistics
Economy | Economy, levels, raffle, quests
Moderation | Moderation, automod

## The result

After applying, the panel shows the state of each module. The bot must be able to see and write in the channel. A module can fail for three reasons:

- Missing permissions: the bot lacks a required permission.
- Limit reached: your subscription does not allow this activation.
- Failure: an unexpected error. Try again, or configure the module from the dashboard.

Tip: The profile does not replace your settings: everything stays editable from the dashboard.

## Frequently asked questions

### Does a profile overwrite my existing settings?

It enables the profile's modules. For levels, an existing announcement channel is kept if there is one.

### Who can run /setup?

Members with the Manage Server permission.
