# Giveaways > Run a Discord giveaway with one command: one-click entry, entry requirements, bonus roles, an automatic draw and reroll. Free and unlimited. Canonical: https://ganyu.fr/en/wiki/giveaways Last updated: 2026-10-06 Run contests with a single command: members enter with one click, and Ganyu draws the winners automatically right on time. Management requires the Manage Server permission. ## Commands For end and reroll, pick the giveaway from the suggested list (running giveaways first, then ended ones, filterable by typing the prize). You can also paste the message link or its ID. - `/giveaway create [winners] [channel]`: Starts a giveaway with button entry. duration in natural format (30m, 2h, 1d, 1w, 1d12h); winners defaults to 1; channel posts somewhere other than the current channel. Works with no prior setup. - `/giveaway end `: Ends a giveaway early and immediately draws the winners. - `/giveaway reroll [winners]`: Draws new winners for a finished giveaway (winner count optional). ## Entry conditions and bonuses Beyond the quick command, you can configure giveaway templates with entry conditions and bonuses: - Minimum account age (up to 365 days) to block brand-new accounts. - Minimum server tenure (up to 365 days). - Blacklisted roles: holders can't enter. - Bonus roles: certain roles grant extra entries (multiplier up to ×10), ideal for rewarding your boosters or subscribers. - Minimum invites (up to 10,000), counted by invite tracking; tracking must be on for the server. - DM winners and mention winners on the announcement, which can be toggled on or off. Tip: Combine a bonus role with an roles-automatiques or premium role to give your most loyal members better odds. ## Limits and tracking Each giveaway's participant list can be viewed in the dashboard. Draws run automatically when they expire, even after the bot restarts. By clicking the button on the announcement message. No reaction or command is needed; the click enters them instantly. ### Does the giveaway keep running if the bot restarts? Yes. Giveaways are persisted and the automatic draw fires at the scheduled time, even after a restart. ### A winner doesn't claim their prize, what should I do? Use `/giveaway reroll ` to draw one or more replacements from the remaining participants. ### Can I give some members better odds? Yes, via bonus roles: a role can grant up to 10 extra entries. You can also require a minimum account age or tenure, and blacklist roles. ### How many giveaways can I run at once? 5 on FREE, 15 on PREMIUM, 100 on PRO, with a maximum duration of 7 days, 30 days or 1 year depending on the tier. See [[premium]]. ### How do I start a giveaway in one command? `/giveaway create [winners] [channel]` posts the announcement with its entry button. `duration` uses a natural format (`30m`, `2h`, `1d`, `1w`), up to one week on FREE; `winners` defaults to 1, up to 20 on FREE. The caps go up with [[premium]]. ### Who can create a giveaway? The Manage Server permission is required to create, end or reroll a draw. Members need no particular permission to enter. ### Can I reserve a giveaway for established members? Yes. A giveaway template can require a minimum Discord account age and a minimum time on the server, each up to 365 days, which rules out accounts created for the occasion. ### Can I exclude some members from the draw? Yes, with blacklisted roles: anyone holding one of those roles is refused entry. It is the usual setting for sanctioned members or for staff. ### Are winners notified automatically? Two independent options exist: a direct message to each winner and a mention of the winners in the announcement. You can turn on either or both. ### How do I end a giveaway early? `/giveaway end ` closes the draw immediately and picks the winners.
